Understanding drug metabolism (DM), pharmacokinetics (PK), and pharmacodynamics (PD) is essential for the development of new therapeutics, which also requires accurate and reliable quantification of drugs/metabolites in complex biological matrix. Dr. Aiming Yu, Director, is a world-renowned investigator in the fields of ADME/PK/PD and bioanalysis. The PK/PD Bioanalytical Core Facility at UC Davis is equipped with essential equipment, including the state-of-the-art LC-MS/MS system, to provide various services to support the clinical and preclinical drug discovery and development programs.
