Understanding drug metabolism (DM), pharmacokinetics (PK), and pharmacodynamics (PD) is essential for the development of new therapeutics, which requires accurate and reliable quantification of drugs/metabolites in complex biological matrix. Dr. Aiming Yu, Director, is a world-renowned investigator in the fields of DM/PK/PD. The PK/PD Bioanalytical Core Facility at UC Davis Medical Center (UCDMC) is equipped with a Waters Xevo TQS UPLC-MS/MS system and set up to provide state-of-the-art bioanalytical services to support the clinical and preclinical drug development programs.
