Central California 900 MHz NMR Facility

Promotes the understanding of the structures and dynamics of natural products, potential therapeutics, proteins, and nucleic acids at the atomic level. Instruments include a 900 MHz spectrometer equipped with a cryoprobe, along with several other NMR systems.

Instruments include a state-of-the-art 900 MHz spectrometer equipped with a CP TCI (1H, 13C,15N,2H) cryoprobe for high sensitivity detection of 1H and 13C, and an 800 MHz spectrometer equipped with a room temperature TXI (1H, 13C,15N,2H) probe. Access is available to both academic and non-academic institutions on a recharge basis.  Note, however, that the University of California is a nonprofit organization and as such does not compete with private industry. Before contacting us, researchers involved in privately supported endeavors are encouraged to seek services from a commercial laboratory.
